The University of Maryland Softball Program is pleased to invite you to participate in our camps. Most events are one-day but are full of unique activities and learning experiences.
Maryland Softball Camps, hosted on the beautiful campus of the University of Maryland in College Park, provide excellent instruction for campers of all skill levels in a fun and competitive environment. Throughout the year, we offer a wide range of camps from prospect camps to specialty clinics focusing on the fundamentals of the game to traditional summer camps.
Participants have the opportunity to showcase skills and receive instruction from some of the nation’s best. Camp coaching staff includes: The University of Maryland Coaches and players, as well as, elite college coaches from other institutions from all across the country and all levels of collegiate softball.
The University of Maryland completed a $3.0 million softball complex in Spring 2002. The facility is the latest improvement to a Maryland athletics program that already ranks among the top 10 institutions in the nation for female athletes, according to the 2001 fall issue of Sports Illustrated For Women.
Located adjacent to Maryland’s state-of-the-art Xfinity Center on the north side of campus, student-athletes will have access to locker room and weight-training facilities, an indoor practice gymnasium, athletic department offices and the academic support and career development unit.
The stadium’s many amenities include two bullpen areas, four batting cages, underground dugouts with restrooms and a natural Bermuda grass outfield.
My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Tiny Terps camp! Courtney was amazing with the pitchers, Taylor was the best cheerleader and all of the players and coaches were wonderful with the girls. She can't wait to return this summer and of course come to the games to cheer on the team.
WOW!!! I LOVED being on campus at Maryland!! I really could see myself as a Terp.
I learned so much at camp, especially with those tiny gloves and tennis balls. That was a challenge, but I will be working hard to get better at that.
I loved the coaching staff and players (especially Noodle, she was very cool.)
Thank you for everything and I hope to see you soon.
Barbara Jo really enjoyed the camp. We also enjoyed the visit to the campus, and I enjoy watching college level coaching so I can bring some fresh drills back to my travel teams.
Great camp. My daughter enjoyed the opportunity to work with the team and the pitching coach
